400 killed in 13-day Israeli raid on Al Shifa hospital in Gaza

More than 400 people were killed in the 13-day operation of the Israeli forces around the Al Shifa Hospital in the Gaza Strip, Palestine. The information office of Hamas-controlled Gaza said this on Sunday.

The dead are said to include patients, medical workers and people displaced by the war.

Israeli forces claim the operation is being carried out based on intelligence that senior Hamas terrorists are using the hospital.

Eyewitnesses said that there was an airstrike in the hospital area. The ground campaign is also underway.

Al Shifa is the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip. The Israeli army also raided the hospital premises in November last year. The international community was outraged about this.

Hundreds of thousands of Palestinians displaced by the ongoing war have taken shelter in the hospital premises.
