7 soldiers killed in terrorist attack in Pakistan
At least seven army personnel have been killed in a terrorist attack in Pakistan. Among them there is a lieutenant colonel and a captain.
The attack took place on an army post in North Waziristan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Saturday.
Pakistan's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) announced this in a statement yesterday. According to the statement, a group of six terrorists carried out the attack. They entered the security checkpoint with a car carrying explosives. Then it explodes.
A Habildar, a Naik, three sepoys, a lieutenant colonel and a captain were among the seven soldiers killed in the attack.
According to the statement of ISPR, these army personnel were killed during the heavy firefight with the terrorists.
