The Democratic candidate current President Joe Biden and the Republican candidate Donald Trump have won the battle to select their party's candidate in the upcoming US presidential election. This information is known from a report of the American media Voice of America.

After receiving the support of the required number of party delegates in Georgia, it is decided that Biden will be the Democratic candidate in the next election. Biden needed the support of 1,968 delegates to become the candidate. He got more than that.

Biden will be officially announced as the Democratic candidate next August. On the other hand, Trump won the Georgia, Mississippi and Washington state primaries. Trump needed the support of 1,215 delegates. He also passed it.
