Mustafa appointed as new Palestinian prime minister

 

President Mahmoud Abbas has appointed Mohammad Mustafa as the Prime Minister of Palestine. Wafa, the Palestinian sanctioned news agency, reported this information on Thursday. Mustafa had been serving as Abbas' profitable counsel for a long time. Mustafa is known as a confidante of Abbas. Mohammad Shatayeh abnegated from the post of Palestinian Prime Minister at the end of last month. 

He also blazoned the abdication of his government. Shatayeh abnegated, citing the need for a change in government in the wake of the October 7 Hamas attack on Israel and the magpie Israeli counterattack in Gaza since that day. A new Palestinian high minister was appointed lower than three weeks after Shatayeh's abdication. Mustafa, 69, must now work to form a new government for the Palestinian Authority. The government's powers are limited in corridor of the Israeli- engaged West Bank. On the other hand, Gaza is ruled by Hamas. 

Mustafa studied at George Washington University in the United States. He's an independent member of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization( PLO). The PLO is dominated by the ruling Fatah. Mustafa served as Deputy Prime Minister. He's the Chairman of the Palestine Investment Fund Board. 

He has worked in several high positions in the World Bank. Mustafar has experience in advising the Public Investment Fund of the Government of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia's autonomous wealth fund. He was involved in the reconstruction sweats in Gaza after the 2014 Israeli irruption. The White House history ate Mustafa's appointment as Prime Minister.
