President Erdogan threatens to send Prime Minister Netanyahu to God, Israel summons special envoy

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to 'send Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to God'. In this incident, the Israeli foreign minister ordered to summon the Turkish deputy ambassador assigned to his country.

Last Friday, the Israeli Foreign Minister made a post on X (former Twitter) about summoning the Turkish ambassador.

In the post, Foreign Minister Katz wrote, "After Erdoğan's attack on Prime Minister Netanyahu and his threat to send him to Allah, I have directed Foreign Ministry officials to summon the Turkish Deputy Ambassador to Israel and send a clear message to Erdoğan."

"You are the one who supports the burning of children, the mutilation of bodies by murderers, rapists and Hamas criminals," Katz wrote, referring to Erdoğan. You are the last person who can (again) talk about God.'

The Israeli foreign minister also wrote, "There is no God who listens to your Hamas friends who support atrocities and human rights violations." Be quiet and shy!'

The news agency Jewish National Syndicate reported that President Erdogan made the comments about the Israeli prime minister shortly after an election rally last Thursday.

Turkish Foreign Ministry Spokesman Onku Keseli reacted angrily to the X message of the Israeli minister. "Turkey will talk the reality and placed the unspeakable oppression of the Palestinian humans on the worldwide agenda," he said.

In a post written on social media, the Turkish spokesman added, "The crimes that Israel has been committing in Gaza for six months cannot be hidden any longer and must face the trial of genocide."

Earlier this month, the Turkish president compared Netanyahu to some of the worst dictators in history, such as Mussolini, Hitler and Stalin, according to multiple media reports.

Quoting President Erdoğan's speech at the time, various news reports said, "Hamas is not a terrorist organization but a resistance movement." We are firmly with them and are in regular contact with their leaders.”

In response to Erdogan's statement, Netanyahu then said, "Israel obeys the laws of war." They don't follow Erdoğan's motto. He supports the "murderers and rapists" of the "terrorist" organization Hamas and denies the Armenian Genocide and the killing of Kurds in his own country.
